We are together because we have the same goal – preserving the true history!

Today in Tver at the III All-Russian Forum ‘Countrymen – Defenders of the Motherland’ we discussed key issues that concern every Russian citizen: how to preserve historical memory, protect the truth about the Great Patriotic War and resist attempts to falsify it.

Historians, war correspondents, Heroes of Russia, journalists, teachers – everyone who is not indifferent to history and its defence – gathered here.

The regimes that have come to a number of unfriendly countries today are Nazi for us, pursuing a policy of Russophobia, misanthropy, restricting and cancelling culture. That is, they use the same narratives that were used by our opponents in the most terrible war.

Our patriotic movement ‘Victory 9/45’ is working to preserve historical truth both in Russia and abroad. Today, when history is being rewritten in a number of countries, we are obliged to defend the memory of the feat of our ancestors. This is our duty to the generation of the victors, their children and grandchildren.
