“The victory is the same, but the meanings are different.”

Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma, took part in the round table “History teacher – the main ambassador of historical truth” organized by the Victory 9/45 movement. He said that the purpose of falsifying history is to deny the predominant role of Russia and the Soviet Union in the victory over fascism.

“European countries are trying to rewrite history, to falsify it, and the meanings that are invested today are filled with new victors, new ideas: both Russia and the Soviet Union are not in them. That is why we, representatives of the patriotic movement “Victory 9/45”, carry out a whole set of activities. First of all in the CIS countries, in the countries – republics of the post-Soviet space”, – said Boris Chernyshov.

Chairman of the movement “Victory 9/45” noted that it is important to remember how in one trench there were representatives of all peoples of the USSR. Everyone fought for the Motherland!
