Soldiers’ front letters are priceless pages of our history

Front letters are not just messages from the front line, but real witnesses of historical events, full of the power of human emotions and experiences. Under the horrors of war, these letters became an important link between soldiers and their loved ones.

According to the data of the Military Field Post Office, during the Great Patriotic War up to 70 million letters were delivered every month. From the front to the rear, 2 billion 794 million letters were sent, as well as 9.9 million parcels and 35.5 million transfers.

Mom, I am alive and healthy, which I wish for you, Seryozha and Dad… For everything do not cry, but on the contrary, hold back, brave, because the victory will be for us.
