Russia proposes that the U.S. hold an international conference on historical truth by Victory Day.

State Duma Deputy Speaker Chernyshov has proposed that the United States hold an international scientific conference timed to coincide with Victory Day, which is celebrated in the United States on May 8.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening international cooperation in historical research and preventing distortions of the past that could undermine mutual trust between peoples.
