Letters from the front

Letters are memory, feelings, emotions and hope that people, being on the verge of life and death, defending the Motherland to the last, gave to each other.

“Hello dear children of school № 6 named after Panfilov, 3rd grade “a”. We send you our front fiery greetings and wish you all the best success in your studies and also wish you good growth. Dear guys, your parcel sent on December 16, 1942, we have received, we are very glad, and thank you very much that you take care of us, that is, you sent us cigarettes of the highest grade, tobacco, silk kisettes, collars, handkerchiefs, garlic, onions…”
