Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov, Minister of Defence, met with Boris Chernyshov, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Victory 9/45 movement and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma.
The parties discussed preparations for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory and issues of further cooperation with the “Victory 9/45” movement of the relevant ministries and agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, whose representatives were also invited to the meeting.
“We are grateful to the Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic for open dialogue and assistance in organizing the events of the international movement “Victory 9/45″. Co-operation with Kyrgyz colleagues is of particular importance, because our peoples share a common memory of the feat of ancestors. I am confident that this meeting will be another step towards strengthening historical justice. We hope for further productive joint work,” said Boris Chernyshov.
