For the first time in 8 years: Kazakhstan hosted the Victory Parade

A military parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the Day of Defender of the Fatherland (celebrated in Kazakhstan on May 7), was held in Astana for the first time since 2017.

According to the RK Ministry of Defense, the parade was attended by more than four thousand people, more than 200 units of special and combat equipment and 66 aircraft of various types.

The event included a historical part: on the square passed servicemen with banners of military formations formed during the war in Kazakhstan and went to the front.
