A regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers was held in Bishkek on May 28, 2025 under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side

The sides discussed in detail the military and political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility and exchanged views on issues related to the further development of the collective security system.

The participants of the meeting noted the high level of organization of the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War held on 9 May 2025 on Red Square in Moscow, in which military units of the CSTO member states took part.

Before the meeting, the heads of defense agencies laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Bishkek’s Victory Square.
