A cyclist from Uzbekistan received a medal “70 Years of Baikonur”!

Khursand Sherov, who traveled from Tashkent to Moscow in early March to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, continues his inspiring journey.

He carries with him a copy of the Victory Banner, the flag of Uzbekistan, and the flags of Kazakhstan and Russia, which were presented to him along the way.

Khursand was recently awarded a commemorative medal “70 Years of Baikonur” for his personal contribution to the promotion of the feat of the Soviet people and strengthening friendship between nations.

His journey is not only a sporting feat, but also an important symbol of unity, memory and respect for history.
